Summary

I was asked to create a motion piece for an annual motion festival. My wife and I constructed a foam base, carved it into shape, and inserted 13,000 nails into it in order to create the landscape for this stop motion piece. I then asked my friend, Max Coen, to create a drum track to fit the piece. We recorded the track, I filmed the scene, and then it fit together perfectly in the edit without much adjustment.
